SOCORRO, New Mexico (STPNS) --

Teofilo S. Patterson, 77, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008, at his home in Socorro, N.M.

He was born May 9, 1931, in Magdalena, N.M., to Richard and Mauricia (Sisneros) Patterson.

He was a life-long resident of Socorro and worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as an equipment operator until he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ebler Patterson, of their home in Socorro; sons: Armando Patterson of Lafayette, La.; and Teofilo "Pat" Patterson of Socorro; daughters: Yvonne Rosas and Denise Vargas, both of Socorro; brother, Mickey Patterson of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Corrina Patterson of Socorro; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled.

Cremation arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro.
