CANIDAE to Attend Michigan Pet Expo, Raise Funds for Michigan State...

- CANIDAE Pet Foods, Inc. (www.canidae.com), a manufacturer of all natural holistic pet foods that are fed and recommended by thousands of certified breeders and rescue organizations throughout North America, will attend the second annual Michigan Pet Expo this November 20-22, 2009 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, Michigan.

CANIDAE will be present at this three day pet products and services event, handing out complimentary samples of its all natural pet foods and treats while helping to raise funds for cancer research. Building on the success of its previous charity raffles at similar events, CANIDAE will once again offer a Felt Bicycle as the grand prize, with this raffle's proceeds directly benefiting the ongoing cancer research projects at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As part of its continuing commitment to foster Responsible Pet Ownership and help animals in need, CANIDAE will donate the bicycle to the raffle, allowing 100% of the proceeds to go directly to the college. To date, CANIDAE has helped raise thousands of dollars for pet related charities across North America as part of its ongoing mission to help needy animals.

The Michigan Pet Expo is a family-focused event sponsored in part by the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association that represents over 2100 veterinarians and veterinary students from all areas of the profession, provides continuing education for veterinarians and related professionals, and promotes veterinary medicine through a multifaceted public education program.

In addition to entertainment at the event, provided in part by CANIDAE sponsored Team Air Gunner in the Dock Diving competition, the Michigan Pet Expo will feature a cat show, a bird show, the 'Dancing with Dogs' competition, and an amazing Frisbee Dog performance. Visitors will also be treated to a wide range of products and services including toys, beds, art work, pet photographers, therapy services, service dog groups, leashes, dog coats, and more.

Those interested in contributing to the fund raising efforts on behalf of the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine may purchase CANIDAE Charity Raffle tickets at the CANIDAE Pet Foods booth, number 430, for either $2 for one, or $5 for three at any time during the event.
