- The newly renovated Hilton Oak Lawn is celebrating the July Fourth holiday during the entire month of July by donating a portion of its sales to the Wounded Warrior Project from both of the hotel's restaurants and from the lounge. This includes the hotel's popular Whitney's Cafe, the hotel's new 95th St. Grill, in addition to Imbibe Lounge.
'We've lighted the guest room tower of Hilton with red, white and blue flood lights that will continue throughout July to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, and to assist the Wounded Warrior Project in its mission to honor and empower severely injured service men and women,' stated Rick Harmon, general manager of the Hilton Oak Lawn. 'This will be an annual July fundraising effort for the Wounded Warrior Project for the Hilton Oak Lawn', Mr. Harmon further stated. The Hilton Oak Lawn is also offering a 15% discount during the entire month of July to all active duty U.S. military personnel when they present a valid military ID. The Hilton Oak Lawn is located at 9333 South Cicero Avenue, one block near 95th Street and just four miles south of Midway Airport.
