U.S. 301 through Ellenton is slow going this afternoon due to an accident at 28th Avenue East that's blocking the intersection, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The vehicle crash was called to the highway patrol at 1:26 p.m. and while there appears to be no injuries the wreckage is in the intersection, witnesses told the FHP.
Those people out for lunch may have also seen these accidents in Manatee and Sarasota:
In Bradenton, crash on 61st Strett East at 15th Street East
Near Myakka, crash in the 36000 block of State Road 70 east of Brendle Road.
In Sarasota County at Myakka River State Park, a crash at 1 p.m. on State Road 72.
In Manatee just after 1 p.m., a crash on Bayshore Gardens at U.S. 41
