Suspect arrested in Warner Robins bank robbery
Warner Robins police arrested a 25-year-old man accused of robbing a bank on Watson Boulevard shortly before 4 p.m. Monday.
Joshua Nathan Meyers was arrested Monday night at 113 Kay Circle and was charged with robbery by intimidation and terroristic threats, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.
Meyers became the prime suspect after surveillance cameras captured the image of a white man with a goatee walking into the Suntrust Bank at 1903 Watson Blvc.
The robber handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening that the man had a weapon and would use it if the bank did not comply, according to the release.
The man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank.
Meyers is being held in the Houston County Jail.
