Dade County Federal Credit Union and the Embrace Girls Foundation will host 'Money Power! 101,' a free workshop for grade-school-age children, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29.
It will be held at the credit union, 18502 NW 67th Ave., Miami Gardens, next to Publix Supermarket.
The event will include a workshop on topics such as Understanding Credit, the Importance of Saving, Money Management, the Importance of Family Budgeting or Why Parents Can't Buy Everything Kids See and Want and Growing Their Own Savings Accounts.
A bank tour will also be offered.
