Fire danger remains a threat in Middle Georgia
Low humidity levels have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a red flag warning due to high fire danger in the midstate today.
The warning is posted from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. for all of the central part of the state and much of north Georgia due to dangerous fire conditions south of a line from Cedartown to Alpharetta to Commerce.
