New deal for highway rest plazas is shaping up

Exxon-Mobil Corp. has notified the state about possible job losses at its 23 highway rest plazas in the state, indicating it likely will turn over the lucrative operations to a new company sometime in October.

While other states have had brand new rest stops built, Connecticut has had the same old rest stops for years without any improvements done.
