May 28, 2012 -- Dell, Inc., a manufacturer of desktop PCs, servers, networking products, software and peripherals, has acquired Wyse Technology, Inc., a provider of hardware, infrastructure software, and services that comprise thin computing.

Dell on Friday announced it has completed its acquisition of Wyse Technology. The combination of Wyse's capabilities with Dell's existing desktop virtualization offerings position the company as the leader in the desktop virtualization, enabling it to offer true end-to-end IT solutions for customers and partners.

ROUND ROCK, Texas &#8212 Dell Inc. has closed on its buyout of Wyse Technology, one of a series of cloud computing deals it has made this spring.

The event theme "Bridging Regions in Transformations" takes place in Istanbul, Turkey from June 4-6, 2012.
