Quad/Graphics laid off 60 employees in January and by Feb. 29 is scheduled to complete another 50 - about 15 less than what the company had previously anticipated it was letting go.
The George Urban Boulevard location, which formerly operated as Worldcolor Buffalo and Quebecor World Buffalo, still has about 275 employees, said Claire Ho, a spokeswoman for Wisconsin-based Quad/Graphics. Quad/Graphics in April announced its plan to close the Depew plant late this year.

Commercial printer Quad/Graphics, continuing to consolidate its operations more than a year after it acquired competitor World Color Press, announced plans to shutter printing plants in Richmond, Va., and Stillwater, Okla.

The Sussex-based commercial printer said the closures will affect 125 employees in Richmond and 240 employees in Stillwater.
