Dow Jones still in positive territory
The Dow Jones was up 22.93 to 12,527.41 by 2 p.m. The the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq also were up.
Losses continued to mount on Wall Street Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, which has shed 856 points over the past three weeks, ended trading at 12,368.40, down 74.09 points, or 0.60 percent.
Wall Street got off to a strong start but dwindled throughout Wednesday trading.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 29.74 points Monday to finish trading at 13,008.53, off 0.23 percent.
TMS, RTI rise in trading Thursday
TMS International Corp. shares jumped 5.16 percent and RTI International Metals was up 4.4 percent on a day that saw many other local companies ending the day down slightly.
