It's no secret that the film scene in Austin has taken off over the last couple of years.

Looks like CHBP is fancying itself Seattle's up-and-coming SXSW-type festival, and really it couldn't happen sooner.

Austin is lucky to see quite a bit of indie film action thanks to SXSW, Austin Film Festival, and various special screenings, but it's still tough for most of us to catch everything we'd like.

It may be a few months late, but I'm still thinking about things I saw/heard at SXSW this year.

Since 2006 Austin, Texas has been voted one of the best places to live, work, play and date.
