Lions Gate is developing the films "Red" and "Step Up," two of the most successful titles that came with its purchase of Summit Entertainment, into television shows.

With The Expendables 2 hitting theaters this summer, a fourth installment of Step Up arriving in July and a sequel to Red in development, Lionsgate is pretty well set for film franchises.
