Steel and metals manufacturer Steel Dynamics posted profit that beat estimates, but forecast fourth-quarter earnings to come in a oesomewhat lowera than the third quarter's. The company saw third-quarter profit slide 64% to $69 million or 30 cents per share, compared to profit of $193 million or 98 cents per share in the year-ago quarter.
