Sierra Geothermal loses slightly less money in 2009 Q3 compared to 2008
Sierra Geothermal Power Corp. reported Monday a loss of $566,070 in the third-quarter, down slightly from a loss of $571,949 in the same quarter last year, citing a decrease in stock-based compensation and efforts to reduce expenses.

EMD Serono, Inc. an affiliate of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, announced today the submission of a New Drug Application to the US Food and Drug Administration for Cladribine Tablets, EMD Serono's proprietary investigational oral formulation of cladribine, as a therapy for reducing relapses in people with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis .
