Spansion Inc. , a leading innovator in Flash memory solutions for embedded markets, today announced it has started sampling its first family of single-level cell SpansionA NAND products using 4x nm floating-gate technology, targeted specifically for data storage in automotive, consumer and networking applications.

Flash memory vendor Spansion Inc. said Wednesday it began sampling the first single-level cell NAND flash memory devices to emerge from a deal with South Korea's SK Hynix Inc.

The firm set a "buy" rating on the stock. Other equities research analysts have also recently issued reports about the stock.

Shares of Spansion Inc. opened at 10.60 on Friday. Spansion Inc. has a 52 week low of $7.21 and a 52 week high of $21.02. The company's market cap is $634.2 million.
