Crit Luallen , who served as Kentucky's state auditor from 2003-2011, has been named a director of Community Trust Bank, according to a news release.

Community Trust Bancorp was upgraded by Zacks Investment Research from a "neutral" rating to an "outperform" rating in a research note issued on Wednesday.

Community Trust Bancorp announced Wednesday that it earned $9.9 million, or 64 cents per share, during the fourth quarter of 2011, up from $9.2 million, or 60 cents per share, during the fourth quarter of 2010.
