Wisconsin has the highest high school graduation rate in the country, the most manufacturing jobs per capita of any state in the union and the most on-farm bioenergy systems nationwide, according to the fourth annual state sustainability report from the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council.

Gateway Technical College certainly has been busy lately making efforts to help bridge the skills gap that manufacturers say is their biggest challenge right now, although one of the college's priorities suffered a significant setback recently.

The National Pest Management Association has appointed Dr. Marcia Duke as directory of regulatory affairs, a newly created position that will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of NPMA's federal regulatory affairs program and collaborating with both NPMA's technical and government affairs departments.
