ABC announced more than a dozen new series at its Tuesday presentation at the annual "upfronts" parade in New York City, eight of which will be on the network's fall schedule.

It wasn't a phone call that Roger Deakins had ever expected to receive. This acclaimed English cinematographer -- best known for his Oscar-nominated work for the Coen brothers and Sam Mendes -- had strictly been working the live-action side of the street.

Peter Bohlin, the architect famous for designing Pixar studios, the sleek Apple stores and a home for the late Steve Jobs, has set his sights on a project in Houston for the Hermann Park Conservancy.
