Telecel Launches Mobile Money Service in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe's Telecel has launched its own mobile money transfer service, branded as Telecash, which it said would allow subscribers to use mobile phones to send money to anyone on any network, pay bills and pay for groceries and other goods and services.

India has been a graveyard of mobile payment companies , and even those who have survived, had to change their business models and become vendors for banks, because when it came to choosing who to allow to do Mobile Money in India, the Reserve Bank of India went with the banks.
