Five Burlington companies have been named to the Boston Globe's top 100 publicly held companies.

Troi.net , a leading provider of IT services in New York City, announced recently a new partnership with Nuance Communications, the Dragon 12 Speech Recognition software provider.

UPMC is reportedly laying off 100 transcription workers as it seeks to cut costs.

The firm currently has a "buy" rating on the stock. NUAN has been the subject of a number of other recent research reports.

GEICO is working with Nuance Communications, a voice and language solutions company, to introduce voice assistant technology in its GEICO App.

A number of other analysts have also recently weighed in on NUAN. Analysts at Raymond James initiated coverage on shares of Nuance Communications in a research note to investors on Wednesday.
