Lundin Petroleum AB Company Announcement LUNDIN PETROLEUM SPUDS CLAPTON EXPLORATION WELL IN SOUTHERN NORTH SEA Stockholm, 2012-05-24 08:28 CEST -- Lundin Petroleum AB is pleased to announce that drilling of exploration well 2/8-18S in PL440S has commenced.

The Annual General Meeting of Lundin Petroleum AB held on 10 May 2012 resolved to authorise the Board of Directors to decide on repurchases and sales of Lundin Petroleum shares on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange or the Toronto Stock Exchange during the period until the next AGM.

A pre-unit agreement was signed in March 2012 whereby it was agreed that Statoil will act as working operator for the Johan Sverdrup discovery until the plan of development is submitted.
