The holder of the $1 million Powerball lottery ticket sold at a Henderson convenience store earlier this month claimed their prize Thursday morning at the Kentucky Lottery Corp.

A ticket sold in Henderson for Wednesday night's Powerball drawing matched the five white balls drawn but not the Powerball, winning the game's second prize of $1 million, the Kentucky Lottery announced.

It was a great weekend for Kentucky Lottery players, as several prizes of a million dollars or more were won.

A lottery ticket worth $250,000 a year for 30 years in a game called Decades for Dollars has been sold in Madisonville, the Kentucky Lottery Corp.
