SANTA CLARA & COSTA MESA, Calif. -- -- Emulex Corporation today announced the results of a Hadoop performance study at Cloud Connect comparing the performance of 10Gb Ethernet versus 1Gb Ethernet for Hadoop cluster environments.

Emulex Corporation today announced the availability of 10GBASE-T adapters as part of its next-generation Emulex OneConnecta 10Gb Ethernet Universal Converged Network Adapter family , providing 10GbE connectivity over twisted pair cables, reducing deployment costs, increasing deployment simplicity and delivering investment protection.
