Procter & Gamble has sold its Pringles crisp brand to Diamond Foods for $2.35bn. Diamond Foods, the US food manufacturer, also owns the Kettle chips brand, Diamond of California and Emerald nuts brands and microwave popcorn brand Pop Secret.
