Next week, May 30th 2012, Dark Horse Comics will be releasing the second issue of " Mass Effect: Homeworlds " and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get an early look at the next chapter.

The Thursday, June 21 program will focus on middle and high school writers. Salem's Adam Gallardo will share his graphic novel expertise as author of "Gear School," several "Star Wars" sagas and others with Portland-based Dark Horse Comics.

Let's just face it, comic fans: nowadays, comics are written for the trade. They are never written for those of us monthly comic purists.

Boba Fett , the most notorious bounty hunter in the galaxy, is dead. Killed by a crew of the vilest bounty hunters in the galaxy, his body is shown across video monitors all over the galaxy leaving no doubt about his fate.

As a lead-in to the Stumptown Comics Fest , Bridge City Comics hosted a "Drink and Draw" evening on Friday, with assistance from Dark Horse Comics and Ninkasi Brewing.
