UAL's United Airlines Boosts Planned Job Cuts to 7,000 as Fuel Costs Surge
UAL Corp .'s United Airlines, the world's second-largest carrier, said it will cut 7,000 jobs after record fuel costs pushed the company to a quarterly loss of $2.73 billion.
