I have to agree with you "Wine." This is the first merger I've experienced where there are so many factions voicing their opinions against it. The top management has made it a point, for some odd and perverse reason, to let the public know the huge take in the offing for them. Multi-millions of dollars! And where is the immediate gratification for the employees, shareholders and customer?

The song being sung is verbatim, the same one always sung. The title: "Trust Me." LOL

But it will fly you mark my words...I never knew until we( the MX at nwa) went on strike how much nwa is in the pockets of our elected officials and government agencies like the FAA and NMB who are supposed to be impartial and in the case of the FAA looking out for our safety. They will promise the world to make this merger happen but as we know at nw at least executive promises mean nothing they have proven time and time again they say one thing and do another and states like Minnesota keep lapping up the kool aid.

Yea, verily, Captain & others. really hard to understand the strategy of the disclosure of the obscene amounts of $$ these empty suits are getting.

I did note the similarity of "Gecko" hair-do's between Bastian and "DICK" Anderson.

Wouldn't follow them to the head.

Worse, they are not even "maangers" in the good "Line" sense; they are unethical "Executives."

Lineguy, your soooo right. This John Rockefeller, who heads up this Investigative Hearing, is unwilling to stop this merger as he see's it, kinda makes you wonder what's in it for him? Maybe Fred Malek and him are ole hunting, fishing, golfing, country-club Buddies; I betcha he knows Judge Allan L. Gropper on a Personal Basis and lets him drive his Private Plush LIMO around the 'Virginia Estate' and pays for the $4.35 ppg gas bill too.. LOL !! FYI >> Fred is buddies to Anderson, Steenland, and 'little FatA$$' Andy C. Roberts too; but won't be seen in the Public Eye, with any of those 3 Hoods.. he's got a reputation to protect, especially around the 'Belt-Way'.. << MAHALO !!!!!

Yea Googs, and I have it on good authority that they were all friends with Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer also. Makes you sick doesn't it?
