Film distributor Entertainment One wants to buy Alliance Films, in a deal that would give the Toronto-based company Canadian rights to some 11,000 titles including the recent smash hit The Hunger Games .

Kosoy, who joined then Alliance Atlantis Communications in 1999 as a program executive for HGTV and Food Network, was most recently acting director, programming and scheduling, specialty.
