Waterview office buildings in Centennial sold for $66 million

A three-building office building complex in Centennial called Waterview has sold for $66 million to Boston-based AEW Capital Management LP. Waterview One, Two and Three were sold by New York-based Clarion Partners earlier this month, transferring 365,985 square feet of high-quality office space located at 8005 S. Chester St. Activity from prospective buyers for the property was competitive, said Mike Winn , vice chairman at Cushman & Wakefield Inc. Winn, along with partner Tim Richey , represented Clarion Partners in the sale.

Girard Avenue Buildings Sold

USA Properties Inc. of San Diego has purchased several retail buildings with adjacent land in La Jolla for approximately $6.17 million, according to brokerage company Cushman & Wakefield Inc. The properties total 14,259 square feet and were fully leased at the time of sale. The sale included 9,805 square feet of retail space at 7545-7549 Girard Ave.; a 9,749-square-foot mixed-use property at 7527-7535 Girard, and a 6,670-square-foot parking lot on Herschel Avenue.

Multi-national firms have invested nearly Rs 2,500 crore in under three years to buy office space in India as against leasing it, property consultant Cushman & Wakefield said. "Multinational companies are increasingly investing through purchasing offices in India... There is a seismic shift in the traditional approach of leasing space that such companies have had for years while considering overseas investment," C&W said in a statement.
