Nov. 17, 2009 This week's news from the Supercomputing 2009 conference in Portland, Ore., has largely been about the raw power provided by the most powerful supercomputers, such as the Cray XT5 Jaguar at Oak Ridge National Lab in Tennessee with its 2.3 petaflop per second performance.
