NEW YORK — Shares of some top oil companies were mixed at the close of trading: BP PLC rose $.13 or .3 percent, to $38.36. Chevron fell $1.20 or 1.2 percent, to $98.86. ConocoPhillips fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $52.11. Exxon Mobil Corp.
