NEW YORK — Shares of some top oil companies are down at 10 a.m.: BP PLC fell $.84 or 2.2 percent, to $37.27. Chevron fell $2.32 or 2.3 percent, to $97.92. ConocoPhillips fell $1.09 or 2.0 percent, to $52.18. Exxon Mobil Corp.
