Fort Worth-based Galderma Laboratories has agreed to acquire a Pennsylvania-based specialty drug company in a $420 million deal, the companies announced Wednesday.
The skin-care company wants to buy CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals to complement Galderma's product line, President Albert Draaijer said in a written statement.
CollaGenex sells Oracea, a treatment for rosacea, as well as a pair of topical steroids. The company is also developing a psoriasis drug and another that would treat the redness associated with rosacea. Read more
