A woman with ties to the Wapello County sheriff's office has died in a shooting southwest of agency.

JOHNSON COUNTY - A 34 year old Marengo man was killed Sunday night in a single car crash on Mahaffey Bridge Road Sunday night.

One resident has been injured in a fire that damaged a house in Clinton. Firetrucks were sent to the home a little after 1 a.m. Sunday.
