- Fight simulator and training company CAE Inc. (TSX:CAE) has surpassed its own forecasts for full-flight simulator sales after winning contracts worth $52 million from Lufthansa Flight Training and Xiamen Airlines.

The orders for four simulators and associated training devices bring CAE's full-flight simulator sales total to 35 so far in fiscal 2008, Montreal-based CAE said Thursday.

CAE raised its sales forecast for the simulators to 34 after initially suggesting it could sell 30 of the machines, which are designed to replicate the look, feel and performance of an airline cockpit using sophisticated mechanics and software. Read more
