Ashford University sent up to 1,000 requests to employees asking them to consider leaving the company.

CLINTON, Iowa – Ashford University employees in Clinton have been given the option to voluntarily resign as the organization reduces its workforce.

Bridgepoint won first place in the large company category for its charitable activities in 2012, thanks in large part to its support of 279 non-profits, more than 9,000 volunteer hours on behalf of the organization's employees, and donations totaling more than , president and CEO of Make-A-Wish San Diego.

Andrew S. Clark is CEO and president of Bridgepoint Education, which is one of San Diego's biggest private-sector companies.
