In a little less than a month, the cost to cross the Sante Fe truss bridge from Fort Madison into Iowa will rise by $1. According to Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesperson Amy McBeth, the new toll will take effect March 1, and signs already have been posted to inform the public.
