Nashville-based Asurion announced plans Thursday morning to fill the downtown Ragland building with 500 jobs over the next five years.

Nashville-based Asurion plans to expand into downtown's Ragland Building at 300 Second Avenue South, the company is expected to announce Thursday.

Asurion, a global leader in technology protection services, announced this week that it hopes to hire more than 200 people in the Yuma area over the coming months to work as customer service representatives.
