Climate bill helps utilities more than oil companies

The climate-change bill that passed the U.S. House on June 26 would set up a "cap-and-trade" market for greenhouse gases that cushions the cost for power producers, manufacturers and farmers while limiting aid to oil companies.

Wreck leaves 500 with no power

A traffic accident Tuesday morning downed power lines and knocked out power to 500 Findlay residents, but power to most was restored within hours, according to a spokeswoman for the electric utility.
