Reuters confirms that Comcast Corp.'s NBCUniversal unit has "exercised an option to sell 'a substantial portion' of its stake in A&E Television Networks to joint-venture partners." Comcast, which exercised the option on March 26, owns nearly 16 percent of A&E. It expects the deal to close in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
