Attendees can meet instructors, students and graduates, and observe classroom presentations, equipment shows, and hands-on demonstrations. Students in the Heavy Duty Diesel Technology program can earn a certificate in three semesters and be ready to work in this high-demand industry. Students are employed by farm equipment dealers, independent equipment repair shops, construction firms, diesel injection equipment repair shops, truck dealers, truck fleets and bus lines. A heavy-duty diesel technology career often leads to positions in equipment and part sales, as well as in management.
