Full story: www.dispatch.com

If bullets cost about .28 cents each it cost taxpayers less then $2.00 in bullets to be rid of this vermin. Versus the cost of a trial and appeals in two states and feeding and housing him foir decades I think we finally got a bargain in the way this ended. One media reporter stated he was GUNNED DOWN by police and that's a load of media BS (Fox News & ABC6). He was not any sort of victim of a shooting he was the end result of good JUSTICE that had a final ending for HIM and some peace for his VICTIMS

This is from another post but I feel the same way
" Anonymous says: What happened to word alleged? Innocent until proven guilty? If all this were true about his bail, do you really think he would be allowed to leave the city, yet alone the state? I've been reading the blogs, articles, etc and the only thing which is clear...a young man, husband and father is dead and we don't know if he were innocent or guilty - why? He wasn't given the ability to stand trial. By all indications, the reports I heard and read said he moved and appeared to reach for a weapon, so they opened fire. Why did it take six officers to shoot one man? If Abrahm was guilty then most definitely he should have paid for his crimes, but...what truths do we truly know.

Despite what he may or may not have done, he had a loving wife and children who are ultimately devastated as well. The victims, IF they are HIS victims....I am saddened for them. I hope they seek the counseling they will definitely need and pray the Lord provides comfort.

Here are questions I have: How did they get the dna sample? How was Abrahm alerted to the surveillance? How does a man with $3.4 million bill afford that type of bail without being a Rockefeller and how does he travel at will from state to state?

It makes one wonder will ever know the truth and whose truth is it anyway?"

His DNA on even one of the rape victims is enough evidence for me. Innocent people do not run from the police. I for one would like to donate several new boxes of.40cal hollowpoint rounds to the Columbus Police dept.

First of all, your comment is really stupid and make you sound ignorant. First, the area he lived in was a nice neighborhood. Second, there are people in every neighborhood that wear their pants off their bottoms. Although I don't like the fashion, it is what it is!!!!

I agree with the quote above. We really don't know what happen but unfornuately in America, people are presume guilty until proven innocent. The police department in Columbus was not able to link Abram to the crimes while he lived in Columbus. It took the California police department to figure it out. I believe that the truth need to discover before we point fingers at someone. As far as the victims of these crimes, they are in my prayers. But as far as Abram, if he is guilty, then let the truth come out, but he is innocent, then let's see if the media put that out!!!!

Drop the "if he is innocent" stupidity!! They have his DNA and it was present in or on 5 different rape victims ... innocent? Get real! If you were innocent and the cops were chasing you - you'd try to go head on into a semi truck huh? Umm - sure ya would!

Im sorry Beige... I didn't mean to inflict injury to your delicate sense of morals. I'll try to be more polite in my opinions for people like you who get offended that easily. By the way, you might not want to read my opinion on the article about the political debate in Akron about Droopy Drawers. That will REALLY offend you.

For all those "he may be innocent" people--um, have you READ the articles here and on NBC4? The police convinced him to WILLINGLY give his DNA at the station. He went there on his own accord and the results came back a few days later that he was a match, prompting California authorities to fly to Ohio. DNA does not lie. Maybe he realized that was a stupid idea because he then went to pawn off his possessions and rented a moving truck. The cops moved in to apprehend him and he FLED, making chasing him their only option. Again, DNA doesn't lie, this guy was guilty and fleeing only further proves that. Have some dang compassion for his victims. People that sympathize with brutal criminals simply astound me.

I totally believe in the principal of "innocent until proven guilty," but the DNA evidence did prove him guilty of at least 5 rapes in California. The story yesterday that said the arrest warrant brought by the California cops charged him with 19 counts "including rape, sexual penetration with foreign objects, sodomy, kidnapping and assault." Yes, I feel sorry for his relatives, but I feel more sorry for his innocent victims.

There's too much crime. I'm tired of hearing and reading about it. Frankly, I don't care what technique the Police use to get it stopped; It has to STOP, period.

Society is lacking in adequate enforcement of the rules and a Get Tough policy is needed. Here you have an idiot who tried to kill another motorist (the truck driver). That abominable behavior ALONE is reasonable and sufficient cause to shoot the driver. The guy (who was shot) was using his car as a literal MURDER WEAPON.

Tell you the truth, society can't AFFORD this nonsense anymore but society doesn't KNOW that yet. We are entitled to ABSOLUTE protection from people who frankly can only be described as just unalloyed filth. I'm glad the guy is dead...that's one less unreasonable and irrational risk posed to my family. Let the community live in peace and get rid of this FILTH.

DNA does not lie. Innocent people do not run from the police. If the police suspected he had a gun were they suppose to allow him to make one of them his next victim. As for his family I doubt he was much of a father or a very good husband - good people to not rape. Whose to say he might not have killed his next rape victim. While he was unarmed we must not forget that he was very dangerous and the police did not know he was unarmed. Rapists are not nice people. Yeah maybe the police should have shot him once that might have been enough I agree but lets not forget the fact that he is a rapist and a poor excuse for a human being. Lets us not forget the victims and our parole system and how even if he was convicted he would be paroled to do the same things again. I am sure the officers that were involved in shooting him did not just open fire to kill the guy. Columbus Police are not trained killers they only fire when their own lives are in danger

too bad they wasted the bullets, looks like he would of burned alive, which would have been much more suitable. I'll add the caveat, "If he were guilty" to please the PC police.

Even if he is an alleged rapist, did he deserve to be shot and killed asap after being captured? He had NO gun or any other weapon. I don't buy that BS that "he looked like he was drawing a gun." The police have been using that excuse time and time again. The rest of this post lynch mob may think he deserves to die, but let our justice system work. Let him be put on trial and go to jail. THIS WAS NO ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING. They shot the SOB several times! Don't give me that argument it "cheaper for the taxpayers" this way. We can use that argument to anyone who we think is "undesirable" or a "detriment to society."

Daily Horoscope for November 8

Cancer

Try to find a balance while the Moon passes through your second house of personal finances, challenging deceptive Neptune in your house of other people's money. You may be giving away too much, whether it's tangible or intangible things. Then again, this is a potentially spiritual time for you. Just remember, you don't have to give away everything and join a convent to be cleansed.
