Two Rivers orchestra to launch eighth season
The region's very own Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra kicks off its eighth season with "Folk & Fashion," featuring soloists, concertmaster, Heather Austin-Stone and principal violist Dana Rokosny at 8 p.m. Saturday. Music director Jed Gaylin leads the orchestra with Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat major, Revuelta's Colorines, and Dvorak's Czech Suite in D major.

Public hearings set in Mon Power-Potomac Edison rate case
The state Public Service Commission has scheduled three public hearings in connection with a rate case filed by Mon Power and Potomac Edison. The hearings begin Oct. 1 in Flatwoods followed by an Oct. 2 meeting in Morgantown and Oct. 6 at Shepherd University.
