Wet-on-Wet Oil Painting Classes offered at SSU

A wet-on-wet oil painting course is being offered at Shawnee State University from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for beginners and 7:30 to 9 p.m. for experienced painters on each Tuesday from June 5 through June 26 at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts, Room 303.

It was almost deja vu of May 2010 on Saturday morning. It looked as if rain was going to put a damper on the graduation ceremonies at Shawnee State University, but just before 10 a.m., the drizzle stopped, and while the sun didn't fill the void, it was at least dry, and more than 1,000 people watched as 485 degrees were conferred.
