Shelton takes oath as undersheriff
Hudson County has sworn in its first African-American female undersheriff. "It is with pride and admiration that we move our Hudson County Sheriff's Office forward with Francine Shelton as our new undersheriff," Hudson County Sheriff Juan M. Perez said at a ceremony in Superior Court on Monday.
