Every couple of years or so, New Orleans gets swamped by a hurricane, and billions of dollars are throw at it to put it back like it was so that the next hurricane that comes along will have something to destroy. Now, we read that the delta is disappearing via erosion. Why don't we let the ocean have what belongs to it, and quit throwing good money after bad?
