LU Students Remember 9/11 Victims In Vigil

Dozens of Liberty University students prayed Thursday night right at 9:11 pm for all off those affected by the attacks 13 years ago. Earlier in the day, students placed 2,977 American flags across the Jerry Falwell Library lawn, honoring all of the lives lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93. "We want people to remember that freedom is not free, that what happened 13 years ago is horrific, is grotesque, is horrible," said Ben Solem, vice president of Liberty's YAF.

WLU Announces Newest Master's Degree Program

The 30 credit hour program will focus on providing working adults with a means to advance their education and get an advantage in their field. The degree offers two concentrations: The organizational leadership program, which prepares graduates to become fully competent leaders and emphasize critical reasoning, and the justice leadership track, designed to advance working professionals in the law enforcement field.



New master's program offered at WLU OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. - West Liberty University is expanding its curriculum and will offer a Master of Professional Studies degree with two areas of study: Organizational Leadership and Justice Leadership.
