Local author's debut novel makes Oprah's list
St. Augustine author Laura Lee Smith's first novel, "Heart of Palm," is on Oprah's book club list under the headline, "15 Riveting Reads to Pick Up in May 2013." Smith said her publisher sent out the book for reviews, which is how Oprah and her staff found out about the novel.
