Cazenovia College is offering a program that teaches children about aquatic ecology.

Canastota Resident Renee Ramsdell Lohr is a first time writer who was raised in a family of readers.A Lohr will feature her new book, "Another Chance" at the Canastota Public Library on Tuesday, May 22 at 7pm.A Her talk will be held in the Lawson Community Room at the library.

Cazenovia College's 2012 Distinguished Service Award recognizes nationally known sculptor Dorothy Winner Riester, 95, who has shared her love of art, passion for preservation and commitment to the environment with the greater community for more than 50 years.
